Connect a device to the host

For iOS and Android, Socket Mobile has made available a Companion app available on the App Store and Play Store respectively.

For Windows, discover the Socket Mobile mobile while the Companion is running, and it will connect to the Windows host as long as it has scanned the App Mode configuration barcode.

The Socket Mobile D600 and S550 products are supported with CaptureJS only on a iOS or iPadOS host devices.

In order to connect to a D600 and S550, the device manager needs to be opened, and its favorite needs to be set to either a unique device identificer to connect to a specific D600 or S550 or it can be set to a * to connect to the first D600 or S550 discovered.
